David Toyne, lead designer for Schmuecker Renewable Energy Systems was recently a featured speaker at a seminar sponsored by Project ACTIVATE.
Project ACTIVATE is an organization with groups of consortium members from Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland; Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway; LOGE Polska Sp. z o.o. in; and the University Of Agriculture In Kraków, Poland. The group works together to develop ACTIVATEngine technology to efficiently power an agricultural vehicle with ammonia in a transition towards a carbon-free industry.
The project was launched in October 2020 and received funding under the POLNOR2019 competition announced by the National Centre for Research and Development in Poland in the frame of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
